I rehung this orchid to the palm outside my kitchen window. Most of the blooms have fallen off except for one, but I can see 4 or 5 new buds forming on the ends of the branches and expect that within 4 or 5 weeks there will be many more brilliant purple blooms that will last for months. Apparently it likes this location as I don't even really water it. I just let the rain handle it. The way I hung it this time I'm hoping that the roots will attach and wrap the tree itself.
