This section of our yard was mostly dirt, and my several attempts at seeding grass failed. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. We dug up and tilled the whole area, bordered it with rocks, and planted succulents. In the back are lavender plants. This should effectively be a "zero-scape" section of our yard.
