Around late June of last year I hung this orchid in a palm tree outside my window. Not long after it was hung we had concrete work on the building and the workers literally ripped it up from where it was, and just lodged it somewhere else in the tree. I fixed it up a little, but mostly just let it run it's course thinking it would die. Finally it took hold, though, and here we are around one year later and it's healthy and putting out the first fresh blooms in over a year!
