The framing of art, island style. Not too long ago I became very interested in the art of Thomas McKnight. There was one particular image I absolutely loved, but there was no print for sale, only a puzzle. I bought it and built it, along with another nice print titled "Gulf of Mexico." I didn't want a traditional frame; I wanted a simple bamboo border. Turns out Michael's art supply store sells stalks of bamboo. I glued the puzzle and print to foam backing, split the bamboo, and this is a photo of my framing the puzzle with bamboo. I'll do the same with the print assuming this turns out well. This was more involved than I had imagined.
